Airscape · Coffee storage canister for 250 g or 1 kg

The Airscape coffee canister features an inner lid that slides down to the level of the beans, pushing out some of the air from the container. This reduces the headspace left above the coffee when stored.

How it works

Insert the beans, push the inner lid down to the contents, and flip the handle to lock it. Then add the outer lid. The system works by displacing air, without a vacuum pump.

Sizes and materials

• 250g: stainless steel body; check the selector for available colors.
• 1kg: Kilo format with a galvanized steel body and food-safe finish, according to Planetary Design.
• Capacities in grams are indicative and vary depending on the size and roast of the beans.

Care and storage

Hand wash and dry the canister thoroughly before refilling. Store away from heat and direct light. The lid helps limit air contact, but freshness also depends on the coffee and the time elapsed since roasting.
